Use The Force...
TNT envisions a future where becoming scientists, engineers, and successful business people is valued as highly as becoming a professional athlete or a musician. We want to see robotics on the same level as other high school sports, such as basketball, football, and volleyball, and as much excitement in the community for technological advancements as the Super Bowl is given today. We would like to show the world that robotics is for more people than "nerds" and "geeks". It's more than robots, and there is a world of opportunity in FIRST for anyone to be successful.
Sporting competitions seem to be what we obsess over. If we can put engineering, science, technology into a format of healthy, fun competition, we can attract all sorts of kids that might not see the kind of activity we do as accessible or rewarding.

Competition for the sake not of destroying one another, but for the sake of bettering and improving both competitors as a result of the competition.
